How to Create an Album

Creating a new album is the first step to organizing your memories.

1. Click the + New Album button in the "My Albums" list.
2. Enter a Title for your album (e.g., "Summer Vacation 2025").
3. The new album will appear in your list. Click it to open the workspace.

How to Upload Photos

You can add photos to your album in multiple ways:

• Drag & Drop: Simply drag photos from your computer and drop them anywhere on the main photos grid.
• Toolbar Button: Click the Actions dropdown and select Upload Files.
• Paste: Copy an image to your clipboard and press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V) to paste it directly.

Import from PDF or JSON

Migrate content from other sources easily using the Import tool.

1. Go to Actions > Import Album / PDF.
2. PDF Slides: Drag a PDF file into the "PDF Slides" zone. Each page will be converted into a high-quality image slide.
3. JSON Backup: Drag a previously exported JSON file into the "JSON File" zone to restore album metadata and structure.

Adopt Photos (Collaboration)

Discover and collect photos from shared community albums.

1. Click Actions > Adopt Photos.
2. Source Album: Select an album from another user to browse their public photos.
3. Select & Adopt: Check the photos you want and click Adopt Selected. They will be copied to your current album instantly.

Smart Cleanup & Duplicates

Keep your storage lean and your albums organized.

• Scan for Duplicates: Go to Actions > Smart Cleanup. The AI will fingerprint your photos to find visually identical matches even with different filenames.
• Merge or Delete: Review the results and choose which copies to keep.
• Storage Health: The tool also scans for broken images or orphaned database entries.

Photo Annotations

Add visual context directly onto your images.

1. Open a photo in the Editor.
2. Click the Annotate icon.
3. Use the toolbar to draw arrows, circles, or write text.
4. Save note: The annotation is saved as a 'Note' attached to the original photo, preserving the original while adding context.

AI Narration Wizard

Give your photos a voice with AI-generated narration.

1. Open the Content Builder (Actions > Content Builder).
2. Click the Wizard button.
3. Choose Style: Pick a persona (Presenter, Formal, Enthusiastic).
4. Apply: The AI will generate scripts and neural audio for all photos in the sequence.

Generating Audio (TTS)

Turn your text scripts into spoken audio files.

• Single Photo: In the Content Builder or Quick Edit modal, click Generate Audio next to the script.
• Batch Generation: In the Content Builder, click AI Generate (if sequential mode is on) or use the Wizard to auto-generate audio for the whole album.
• Listen: Use the built-in audio player to preview narrations.

View Modes & Overlays

Customize how you see your photos in the editor.

• Fill Screen: Use the View dropdown to toggle "Grid View" or simplified lists.
• Score Cards: Select View > Quality Score to see AI quality ratings (Technical, Composition, etc.) overlaid on each photo.
• Details Overlay: Toggle "Notes & Tags" or "Lock Status" to see metadata at a glance without opening the editor.

Share Links & Link Assistant

Share your album with the world or specific people.

1. Click the Share button in the album header.
2. Link Assistant: A popup will appear allowing you to customize the share link.
3. Options:
   • Slideshow Mode: Starts the viewer in slideshow mode automatically.
   • Auto-Play Audio: Enables audio playback by default.
4. Click Copy Link and send it to your friends!
